Fears of Rodents

One of my fears are rodents. I don’t like anything that is small or big round and furry. I hate mice/rats, possums, hamsters and ferrets. I am pretty sure there are many more hairy creatures that I do not know the names of or haven’t come across. Which I am hoping that they never come across my path. They just really creep me out and give me goose bumps. Even right now as I write this blog. That’s why I am ending it short. Sorry readers.

Psychic Readings

Do you believe in psychic readings? I have never believed in it because I think it is not real. Another reason is because I do not want to know what is headed for me in the future if it is real. I rather live life in the moment. The only readings that I am into are astrology signs. I am interested in the suns and moons and how everything relates to another. As far as psychic reading and palm readings, it seems fake. I am usually open to a lot of things but this is one can of worms that I prefer to leave closed. I think that palm readings may be a bit accurate because it is based on your energy and your vibes. But I'm still not into the whole crystal ball thing. Especially the Gypsy's. Have you heard some of their accents? You can tell that they are SO phony!

Murderer's, Rapists, & Pedophiles

I am not curious to know what is going on in the mind of a murderer/ serial killer, rapists, or pedophile. The reason is because I do not want to think about all the bad things they will do to someone of innocence. Its sad yet sick. Do I feel sorry for them? NO! they need to be put in jail for 25 years to life. Honestly, I believe in the Hammurabi code. An eye for an Eye. In some countries, that is how the law works. But just to always be safe and prepared, especially as a young beautiful female as myself, I carry pepper spray at all times. It was given to me by my older brother. I’m glad that he did, because I realized that there will be times that he will not always be there to protect me. If you want to know what is going through these Sickos minds, just make sure you are prepared for whatever comes your way. I am tired of seeing so much bad news all over television about innocent people being killed, raped, robbed, and molested. Its just not right. Where’s the Justice?!!!

Natural Birth and Going Organic

I understand that many women don’t want to feel pain while going into labor, but do they realize how much it affects the newborn? Yeah, sure the baby will be on its way in any minute or hour but in that short amount of time there can be birth defects. I don’t know much about natural birth but I do know that it is very beneficial for the baby. So is breast feeding. Mothers have to realize that they wont have that small frame forever and that sooner or later, you have to make that sacrifice for your child. Your baby needs all the nourishments from your body that you can possibly give. This will also prevent diseases and infections from all the artificial baby products these companies are developing. Going organic is a very old fashion way to go about things but not all technology is better for our children of the future.

I am not a mother as of yet, but I was just pointing out some flaws mothers do when preparing for their newborn. Especially first time mothers. Its not my place to tell anyone what to do, but if no one asks, then you don’t tell.. SHhh…

Implants

Yes. A question many men ask themselves: are they real? Well more than likely they're aren't. But who cares? I wouldn't abuse my body by getting all types of surgery done. Most women know the downfalls of having breast implants, buttocks, liposuction, face lifts etc. The truth is, its not doing your body any good. So why do women do it to themselves anyway you ask? Well that's simple I guess. They're living in the moment. But one day all of that is going to flop! once they hit their golden years, you figured by then they lived their life and did everything they ever wanted to do in their time. However other people choose to treat their bodies is their business. All I know is my body is a temple, and I will cherish it. I don't care if you sag and look like a walking bean bag when you get older.

Surviving as an Illegal Immigrant

What would you do to survive if you were an illegal immigrant in the United States? The only thing that comes to mind is to dance as a stripper. Question is, will you put your pride to the side to make money for you and your children? If you had no one to help you in your situation, how will you manage? How do you think you will be better off? Now we know that you don't want your children caught up in the system and probably taken away from you, so there's some sacrifices you're going to have to make. I'm not asking for any single mothers to kiss and tell but I do want you to put your priorities first. We all have our different opinions, but at the end of the day, mouths have to be fed. So what's it gonna be?

Trustworthy Friends & Long Distance Relationships

I have friends and then I have associates. I have one boyfriend and only one bestfriend. I choose to have only one bestfriend because its very hard to trust people. I am not very open to making new friends due to prior relationships I've had. But I can proudly say I trust my boyfriend and my bestfriend. However, my bestfriend lives in Georgia and I am all the way in New York. We have been the bests of friends ever since elementary school. I know some people would lose their connections with long distance relationships but not I. I make it my duty to keep my friends that I have because I know what they're about and I know what to expect from them. The same thing with my boyfriend. I don't have to worry about my bestfriend going behind my back and trying to get close to my boyfriend. Other friends that I have, they're not so smart. They have friends who will hide things from them. some will be so deceiving and sleep with their own friends boyfriend. I tell you, some people you may think are your friends really aren't. You have to observe everyone and everything. Well at least I have nothing to worry about. I have been with my boyfriend for 4 years and there's no way my bestfriend will betray me like that. You should think about having long distance relationships. Its fun to travel and... you can keep your friend away from your man. :-) Pretty smart huh?

Craigslist Scams

Lately, I've been looking at cars for sale on the Craigslist website. I figured since I sold my old car via craigslist I can buy a vehicle as well. However that's not the case. Its taking me awfully a long time to purchase a vehicle because there are so many scams. I've notice many people are using the war in Iraq as a sobbing story as for the seller not to allow the buyer to see the vehicle. Instead they use excuses such as they're not in town right now and to be safe, lets use ebay. Im telling you it is bullshit! The thing is I am not as close to curious to find out why there are so many scams on the internet. For one, I'll never fall for one. I've done my research and I'm still learning how to catch a fraud. I'm a college student for crying out loud. Who do they think they're fooling? But if anyone should know, I am interested in any vehicle that is a 2001 or better.

Steroids in the Gym

Hmmm, is it true that in every gym there is at least one guy who either sells steroids or knows someone who does? I don’t expect to get much response on this post due to privacy and other related issues but it was just something that was bought to my attention by my professor. Although, I wouldn’t be surprised because there are many professional athletes who uses steroids. Such as NFL players and Olympians. Besides, these days everything is full of un-natural ingredients to boost your stamina and performance. Drinks like 5-hour power, red bull, and other protein shakes from GNC stores.

For The Love of Money

I am not curious to know why people go on television shows to broadcast their personal problems they're having at home. People go on TV and make fools of themselves. Why embarass yourself and your entire family on live TV? The reality shows aren't what they use to be anymore because everything is scripted. I understand you get paid for acting buck-wild to make the show entertaining but its really not worth it. Especially on these 3 top rated shows such as:

2. Jerry Springer
3. Steve Wilkos Show

I mean don't these people have anything else better to do besides acting ignorant.

Truth Hurts

Alright, here's the situation: a mother has to come up with a story to tell her child who her father is. Reason is because the father is either incarcerated, dead or the mother isn't sure who the actual father is. Now she randomly chooses one of her closest Guy friends to claim the title as "Daddy". The little girl grows up and this friend of the mother's is the only father figure in the child's life.

Why can't the parent tell the truth about her father? She figures by lying to her child was the best thing to do to keep her child happy and feel safe. Sooner or later the mother and her "guy friend " gets in an argument and it blows up in the child's face that her father isn't her real father. The child is now confused and the parent has to come clean then tell her child everything. However, this would've been avoided by telling the truth. Whether the child's real father was dead or alive, the truth would have been the best thing for her to know. Who cares if the child is too young to understand? Now her daughter will feel hatred and betrayed all because of not knowing the truth. As a result the child goes searching for her biological father. This is probably the worst thing mothers can do, because when the truth comes out, it will hurt. It's like taking a knife and stabbing your child in the back.

Its always someone else who can't handle the truth, when in reality its the person who started the long line of lies. My advice to my readers is to never live in denial. All things hidden in the dark will come to light and you will have to face the truth someday. So start NOW!

No Ambition = The Perfect Loser

Ambition to me, means wanting to succeed. In reality, who doesn't want to succeed? In this tough economy there are millions of people who are struggling just to make ends meet. People who lost their jobs due to many cuts and as a result, this lead to many families to be on the short end of the stick. Left alone to hang dry. However, some decided there was a need to make change and be apart of something of great importance. The reason I am writing this blog is because I was one of those inspiring people who inspired many others to go back to school to further their education. For instance, my mother of 5 children decided to further her career in the medical field to become a registered nurse. I have a few friends who are also attending college. The difference is the motivation I have to keep moving foward and to show support to my family and friends. I have a part time job and I juggle my school work with spending time with my three different families. My question is, Why is it that I can pass my classes with passing grades and manage a overwhelming lifestyle meanwhile my people I know who don't have jobs cannot keep up their grades? How is it possible for a person to not want good grades. With all the awards and scholarships being given to those who have great marks. Right now I am in my second semester at 17 years of age with a 4.0 GPA. I don't mean to brag, but if I can do it as busy as I may be, why can't others? It really makes no sense to me why people think they can't do the same. Matter fact there's no such word as CAN'T. Anything is possible if you put your best foot foward. I try my best to motivate others, but how can you help someone who doesn't want to help themselves? I wish the best for those who have no ambition to succeed in life.
